Motocross auf dem Eyller-Berg-Kurs bot den Motorsportfans zum Jubiläum ein hochkarätiges Sportprogramm. Der Motorclub Kamp-Lintfort hatte mit 3 Klassen ein volles Programm für den 1. Mai auf dem Plan. Die Rennen zur Europa offenen Deutschen Meisterschaft gab es gleich im im Doppelpack. Als sportliches Highlight werden bei den Sidecars, wie die Seitenwagen international heißen, die besten deutschen Gespanne gegen internationale Topteams antreten.
